Ever since the game launched around 4 years ago, Tetris 99 has been doing Maximus Cup events every now and then. These usually happen to celebrate some first-party content that recently launched on the Nintendo Switch, usually a game, and the theme you can unlock during the event is usually based on what the first-party content is.
The most recent one happened in December, but that’s about to change. The 32nd Tetris 99 Maximus has been announced by Nintendo tonight, which will feature a Fire Emblem Engage theme. The Maximus Cup will be taking place this weekend. The announcement tweet is down below.
