Nintendo has unleashed some fresh new footage of the upcoming Zelda adventure The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Obviously if you want to resist temptation and go into Link’s latest open world adventure blind, then it is best to avoid this trailer, however, I suspect most of you will want to watch the dramatic action unfold. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is due to be released on Friday,12th May.

I usually don’t like watching alot of trailers because of spoilers, but this is one trailer i couldn’t resist watching. The amount of detail in the artwork and visuals is insane. Definitely a day one purchase.
I think they should have released this killer trailer sooner… but whatever. Seems like a lot of people know there is a sequel to BotW coming out, but many gamers I’ve talked to have no idea it’s already out on May 12th. That would be on Nintendo’s marketing team, they aren’t promoting it properly. But… they probably already know the game will quickly sell 10 million copies guaranteed and don’t care to spend money marketing it like BotW.
This is exactly what the movie needs to be about. The BotW timelines are definitely where to start and that animation omg.

A very lovely trailer, a shame Nintendo didn’t show this in their February direct, it’s been awfully dull up until now. I’m happy with it, loved seeing Ganon, this will be an epic adventure, but I won’t be buying day 1. I will pick this up later in the year, as it’s too much hype right before the games release. I will wait until after Pikmin 4 as that was treated properly at the proper time. Besides in my country it’s my kings coronation in may so I won’t be bored. I give this game an 8/10 as they bored me too much with the trailers over the past 6 years.

You’re buying the game regardless, and in the same fiscal year as the release date. You’re honestly not punishing anyone but yourself here because Nintendo still has your sale.
I often wonder if people like this actually, genuinely exist, or if this is just a character created by someone online who wanted to flex their creative writing a bit. It’s interesting seeing people make up characters and portray them as real people in online forums just to see how far they can take them.

Oh man… I feel sorry for the people who analyze these trailers because that was A LOT.
I know this is going to have frame rate issues, clipping, textural problems.
However, with this art direction and style, I don’t care. Graphically I think this holds up with the best of them on PS5.

I couldn’t resist, and man am I glad I watched. There was so much going on and so much to see that I said out loud “How much stuff does this game have!? ”
And if Ganondorf is being voiced by Matt Mercer (and I’m 99.8% sure it’s him), then I’ve never been more excited to see the King of Evil return.
