Nintendo of America has unleashed a brand new commercial for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The advert which is titled You Can Do What? shows off some of the new mechanics in the new Zelda game such as gliding down from the floating islands in the sky and Link’s ability to pass through ceilings and obstacles using ascend. It also showcases new creative abilities in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom like Ultrahand and Fuse. The big new Zelda adventure is out on Friday, 12th May.

I wasn’t focused on the game, my initial thought was “where did they get these actors, and why is this woman in a laundromat”
Your comment is a joke right? The lady in the laundry mat is to show you that you can take it with you anywhere and play. You know a selling point of the switch. Why would they just show people playing it in the house and not featuring a big feature of the consol?
Just sayin, off all places they picked a laundromat. I figured that was the reason why, in that case why not do the advertisement from the bathroom. I know it’s a selling point but seriously a laundromat like gamers actually take time to do laundry. I figured it was to show you can take the Switch anywhere, they could pick someplace realistic.
A laundry mat is realistic. For many years the places I rented didn’t have machines in the building or the ones on site were horrible. You end up spending a lot of time doing laundry at those places. If I had my switch back then I would have taken it with me. I would always listen to podcasts or play stuff on my phone. There are a lot of laundry mats around in many places for a reason.
Maybe in TOTK you’ll be able to build your own washing machine then you won’t need to go to the laundrette. Cool!
Have you ever been to a laundromat? You’re usually there for awhile if you need to go to one.
My washer broke once and it would be awhile before it would be fixed and I had stuff that needed washing, so off I went. This was before the Switch so luckily I had a 3DS and Fire Emblem Awakening so I wasn’t sitting there bored.

All this talk over a laundromat has me recalling a time my dad took our clothes to a laundromat & it had a Pac-Man arcade game there. I can’t remember exactly but I think we went there at least 2 or 3 times. Or maybe it was just the one time? It was so very long ago, in my early teens, methinks, that the memory/memories are hazy. 🤷
