The latest news is that The Super Mario Bros. Movie will be available on video streaming services on 9th May as a Pay per View title on iTunes and Prime Video etc. The film has been doing incredibly well breaking numerous records despite mixed critic reviews. However, the general consensus is it is a fun time had by all. The Super Mario Bros. Movie is playing now at theatres worldwide.

Are things usually released on digitally and physically this close to its movie theater release? I thought it usually takes at least a few months.
Yeah… I do think this is a rarity. I think the norm is getting discs and streams like 3 months after premiere. In this case, it’s only like 1 month.
I’m so happy, I’ll be able to watch this movie in six days, my favorite part of the movie is when bowser sings about princess peach, it’s so hilarious, Jack Black is the perfect person to play bowser in the movie
I feel like this is a massive mistake on Universal’s part, if true. The movie is still doing insane numbers at the box office. It will have some real competition now with Guardians 3 coming out, but it’s still the only movie in theaters for really young kids. There’s some money to be made releasing it digitally, but that also throws the doors open to people who plan to pirate the movie.
I wish I could pay for it in eshop nintendo credits and watch it on my switch.
That would be nice to pay for it in the Nintendo E-shop and watch it on your Switch, that’s a great idea to watch this movie on your Nintendo Switch and Amazon Prime would be good too, but I’m still sticking watching it on the Nintendo Switch 😁😁😁😁
