Every now and then, Nintendo will release a day-one update for a new game that is about to launch, or has just launched the same day. Most of these updates usually fix some last-minute bugs that were found, or they make it so certain things in the game are available to play for the public.
This is no exception. Nintendo has released a brand new update for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Once you update, the game should be at version 1.1.0. According to the official patch notes, the update fixes some bugs that were found and added tweaked horse name inputs. You can see the patch notes down bleow.
General Updates
- Horse name inputs now allow for Korean, Chinese (Simplified), and Chinese (Traditional) characters.
- If the system language is not set to Korean, Chinese (Simplified), or Chinese (Traditional), some inputted characters will not display.
- Made other, additional fixes to allow for a more pleasing gameplay experience.

Glad that the dev’s are keeping Tears of The Kingdom updated making for a more enjoyable experience.
