It looks as though Tails, Amy and Knuckles are coming to Sonic Frontiers as playable characters fairly soon. The news comes as a dataminer took a look at the Sonic Birthday Bash update has found that they are fully implemented in the game. The dataminer found the three characters animations in the game’s update files. Amy uses Tarot Cards as her weapon of choice, Knuckles has the drill model and Tails has the Cyblaster. The Sonic Team is notorious for leaving upcoming content in the game files tucked away. You can check out the animations for the three characters down below.

yeah we know, they already announced they were gonna be playable in a big story update ages ago, why is this news?
Yeah we all know they are going to be playable this year.
Three things to say:
1. I kind of prefer tails having his side blaster on his arm like he did in Sonic battle, but that’s mostly because it reminded me of Mega Man
Amy’s using her tarot cards as a whip? When did she change her last name to Belmont? I would have made a Persona joke, but she didn’t have a Stand (okay that’s enough references for one post)
Why does knuckles look so angry in his climbing animation? Did Rouge steal another emerald shard?
Amy Belmont actually has a nice ring to it. Lol
