It has been 10 years since Ubisoft originally released Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. Since then, the game has been released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and even the Nintendo Switch. That said, video gaming companies have been very interested in remakes and remasters of older titles. So, it may have been only a matter of time before an Assassin’s Creed game received a similar treatment.
Well, it seems that time may be coming soon. Kotaku has learned from “two sources familiar with the plans who asked not to be named because they were not authorized to discuss them” that Ubisoft is currently in the early stages of remaking Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. It is not expected to release for “at least a few years” and Ubisoft Singapore is heavily involved in the remake’s development. Kotaku reached out to Ubisoft, but a spokesperson declined to comment.

I know i’ll be a social outcast for posting this but i’ve never really cared for Assassin’s Creed. This one time i posted that about Final Fantasy 7 and became an automatic outcast, apparently fanboys can’t accept any opinions other then their own. They started insulting me, because apparently opinions are offensive. True story bruh!
I’ve never played Final Fantasy either and if they want to declare me as an outcast for that, so be it. Couldn’t care less.
I don’t think it’s important, if you’ve ever played either of those games. Not every fanboy or -girl is like that imo
You need to accept that people are going to dissect you on the internet. So either lurk and be humble, be a fanboy and get trolled, or be an anti and get trolled.
This game rocks. I think it started as a new pirate game before becoming anassassins creed game. If you’re not a big AC fan I would suggest giving this one a try sometime.
Remaking games works well when the game is severely outdated.
Ubisoft choosing to remake Black Flag is a very odd choice. It is widely available. Has been ported to multiple systems even recently. The graphics and gameplay are not super outdated. The game is very much playable now and could be enjoyed by current audiences.
When companies do this crap, it screams “cash grab!”
