The best-selling video game software and hardware sales data for the month of June 2023 has arrived from the largest gaming market in Europe, the UK. June proved to be a busy month for new releases which included the release of a new Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy XVI, Diablo 4, and a new entry in EA’s popular F1 racing franchise, F1 2023. It proved to be Activision-Blizzard’s Diablo 4 which sold the most amount of units both digitally and physical. Talking of Diablo 4 it is now the second best-selling game of 2023 in the UK, just behind Hogwarts Legacy. Sadly, Nintendo doesn’t share digital data so all we have to go on for the acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom would be the game’s physical sales. On the hardware side of things it was Sony’s PlayStation 5 which proved to be the best-selling console in the UK in June, the PS5 was followed by the Nintendo Switch family of systems and the Xbox Series X|S consoles in third.
