Sonic Superstars already rated by ESRB

Sonic Superstars looks set to be a solid 2D platforming experience for fans of the legendary blue blur and friends and is due out later this year. Interestingly, the game has already been rated by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board and has been given a E for Everyone rating. SEGA has simply said that the game is out this fall and haven’t announced a firm release date just yet. Hopefully we will find out soon when the game will be released and also if it is going to go head to head with Super Mario Wonder. Here’s the product description by the ESRB:

“This is an action platformer in which players assume the roles of Sonic and his friends as they zoom around colorful zones and attempt to defeat Dr. Robotnik. As players speed through whimsical environments, they can jump on enemies’ heads, causing them to transform into small creatures; Sonic and friends react to damage by losing coin-like rings and falling off-screen when defeated. Boss battles can depict more protracted combat, with cartoony explosions.”
