Netflix has unleashed the first official teaser trailer for their upcoming animated series based on Scott Pilgrim. The show will be available exclusively on Netflix on Friday, 17th November which is the very same date that the Super Mario RPG remake launches on Nintendo Switch, so good luck juggling the two. Scott Pilgrim on Netflix will include the live action cast so that’s Chris Evans, Aubrey Plaza and more.

I ended liking the movie more than the comics. Edgar Wright was a great choice.

That’s nice and all, but what does this have to do with Nintendo?
Well, the Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World game is available on Switch, and this show’s animation style resembles that of the game’s, so… Perhaps that’s why.
I’m just waiting to see how Netflix fucks this up, too. The Witcher, Cleopatra documentary, the “true” story of Depp v Heard (let’s face it, it was ALWAYS gonna side with Heard.)
Which makes me wonder. I wonder when Netflix will do an Ezra Miller documentary that paints him as a victim of hate & not the violent nutjob that he is. (Hopefully was as he’s hopefully getting actual serious help. People love a redemption story. Just look at RDJ.)
