Nintendo Live 2024 will be in Tokyo

This eagerly anticipated event promises two action-packed days of live performances featuring beloved Nintendo properties, as well as the highly anticipated world championship tournaments for competitive first-party Nintendo games. Attendees are in for a treat as they immerse themselves in a world of Nintendo magic. However, securing a spot requires pre-registration, with an intriguing twist: all pre-registered attendees will be entered into a lottery to win the coveted event ticket. For those unable to join in person, the event will be broadcast live on the official website, ensuring that no Nintendo fan is left out.

Gaming enthusiasts will want to stay tuned, as Nintendo plans to open applications for the game tournaments in October 2023. As for general admission, pre-registration is scheduled to kick off in November. Detailed information about application processes will be shared closer to the event. The competitive spirit will soar with the Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe world championships. Participants who triumph in preliminary rounds will converge in Tokyo to compete for the illustrious title of world champion. Team competitions are set to raise the stakes with thrilling showdowns in Splatoon 3 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Splatoon 3 team competition is slated for the first day. Meanwhile, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate enthusiasts have a chance to showcase their skills in the general division on the second day, and elementary school students will seize the spotlight on the first day in their own dedicated division.
