Nintendo says no new content for Mario Kart Tour after 4th October, 2023

Mario Kart Tour initially proved to be a success for Nintendo when it launched back in 2019 offering a way for gamers on the go to dip into numerous Tours each filled with either a new or a classic revamped track. Today, Nintendo has announced on the game’s news section that they won’t be adding new content to the to the iOs and Android game from Wednesday, 4th October. Nintendo has been adding courses from Mario Kart Tor as DLC courtesy of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass which is free for those who sub to the higher tier of Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

So the last original tour is gonna be the anniversary tour correct, that being said I knew this game was wrapping up cause it’s been a while since we got new alts and most of the current tours were redo’s of past tour, it’s still so weird how the past three years Nintendo killed most of their of their mobile games feh (it’s honestly hard to count the animal crossing one as well as I think its last update was around January) is the only game left now and it really makes me think what other mobile games are Nintendo planing to introduce in the future.

  2. So it has come to this. I understand now Nintendo are not planning to introduce new content for the game anymore. I hope what other Mobile game that Nintendo is going to introduce next.

  3. This is sad, only because I was sure we were getting a booster course pass 2. As it stands right now I could still see them doing another few extra cups but not enough for a whole new pass.
