Red Dead Redemption 2 has surprisingly been rated for Nintendo Switch in Brazil

Update: Turns out that the Brazilian Rating Board made a mistake which has now been corrected.

Rockstar Games appears to be going all out on the Nintendo Switch. Not satisfied with bringing the excellent original western adventure Red Dead Redemption to the Nintendo Switch family of systems, they are seemingly planning to launch its epic sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2, on the platform. The news has come about as the game has been rated for release in Brazil. It is not clear if it will be a cloud-based version or a native version developed by a third party. Either way, the original Red Dead Redemption 2 pushed the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles to new heights when it released during the tail end of the generation in October 2018. If we hear any more about Red Dead Redemption 2 for the Switch, we will endeavor to let you know.

  1. Couldn’t complete the campaign for RDR 2 because it kept crashing even after un installing and re downwarding. Even manually deleted my save data from save data utility and used Safe Mode check and rebuild hdd. Maybe i’ll complete the campaign if/when it gets ported for the Switch.

      1. I’ll personally stay away regardless if it comes to the current switch, but some people actually ACTUALLY like the Cloud versions. Who knows why anyone would settle for that, but they do.

  2. If it’s cloud…nah thanks.
If it’s planned for a release on switch 2, then hell yeah.
There’s just no way this game will run on the current switch ( not how it’s supposed to anyway ).
