You may recall that, yesterday, Nintendo announced that F-Zero 99 would be getting another brand new update tonight. You may also recall that, when the update was announced, Nintendo confirmed that the update would add a brand new mode called “Classic Mode”.
Well, as Nintendo promised, the update has been officially released. Classic Mode is now available to play, enabling players to participate in a mode with rules that are inspired by the original F-Zero game that was released on the SNES. Blast it! Now I have to worry about my racer dying due to permadeath–Oh wait…wrong series.
That sounds exciting! Classic Mode seems like a great addition for fans of the original F-Zero game, providing a nostalgic experience while still offering something new.
