US: Pokemon Horizons: The Series kicks off in February on Netflix

Today, The Pokémon Company International announced that “Pokémon Horizons: The Series,” an all-new Pokémon animated series that will follow a never-before-seen storyline and characters, will premiere in the U.S. on Feb. 23, 2024, exclusively on Netflix. The launch comes just in time to celebrate Pokémon Day 2024, the annual pop-culture holiday commemorating the launch anniversary of the original Pokémon video games on Feb. 27, 1996.

Furthermore, “Pokémon Horizons: The Series” will be releasing in Canada on Cartoon Network and Télétoon beginning March 2, 2024, and in Australia on 9Go! beginning Feb. 27, 2024.

In “Pokémon Horizons: The Series,” fans will meet new dual protagonists – Liko and Roy, as well as their partner Pokémon Sprigatito and Fuecoco, respectively – following the final chapter of Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu and their storied 25-season journey. The family-friendly, action-packed series will also follow other new characters like Friede and Captain Pikachu.
