Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 physical release finally comes with a cartridge

The entertaining Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 originally only included a download card in the box, which wasn’t what the vast majority of consumers wanted from a physical release. However, it seems as though that has since changed, as the physical release at some stores now includes a cartridge which is a win for physical game collectors. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is available right now on the Nintendo Switch and Mr. Krabs, Zuko, Rocksteady, and Iroh are all set to arrive this year as downloadable content characters.

  1. If you’re not going to actually write your game onto physical media, DON’T ADVERTISE A PHYSICAL VERSION. A case with a download code is just a waste of resources- resources that could have been used elsewhere.

  2. That’s great news about the cartridge finally being included, physical collectors have been waiting for this. It’s a shame it wasn’t like that from the start. On a related note, if you’re into brawler games on mobile, you can check out null brawls apk for a different but similarly chaotic fighting experience. Hopefully the upcoming DLC characters like Mr. Krabs and Zuko add some fresh life to the roster. Either way, glad to see physical media getting some respect again.
