Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has appeared in an interview with Goichi Suda CEO of Grasshopper Manufacture in which he expressed his hope that the company could try its hand at erotic and violent games someday. However, Hino said that this extreme idea is not on the cards right now as his responsibility as head of Level-5 is continuing its various ongoing series and developing new IPs with its collaborators. Here’s what he said:
“If I were to put it in extreme terms, I would go as far as to say that I want to make things like erotic games and 18+ games with violence,” the creator comments while laughing.
“I do, there’s an ‘abnormal world’ inside of me, but I’m trying not to go there, only making things from the righteous part of my mind instead. However, deep down, I really want to visit that abnormal world.”
“I want to go that dark, abnormal world, and I think I will definitely end up doing so. Once I feel that Level-5 is stable, and I have the room to make what I want…I will do it (laughs).”

The title is a little misleading. He says he wants to make erotic AND violent games, not erotic violent games. Mind you, that might not be a bad thing but not what he was referring to.

When I was little we had actual choices both violent and non violent that wasn’t animal crossings or a clone of.
This generation has their heads up their butts already with a crap education system. Violent games are the LAST thing they need to feed the monster. I hope the collages/universities fail all the protestors that have committed the riot act as people aren’t able to graduate now because of these A-holes.
