More information has emerged on a number of remakes which SEGA has in the works, which were announced during last year’s The Game Awards. What we now know is that SEGA has been developing complete remakes of Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio using Epic Games state of the art Unreal Engine 5 and that both of these projects are being overseen by a number of original staff members. Midori says that SEGA had planned to launch the Jet Set Radio remake in 2026 and the Crazy Taxi remake in 2027. That is not all as both Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio will also receive Games as a Service versions, though these will thankfully launch after the remakes. Midori also says that the Golden Axe remake was supposed to launch last year, though plans obviously changed.

I feel like the site needs a leaks/rumors sub section so that people can read them if they choose. There so so many things of that nature now, it seems none stop, and if/when it turns out to be true, fans are robbed of the genuine surprise element when it’s officially revealed.

Nah, I disagree, mynintendonews is a simple site where you get about 4/5 articles per day, why would we divide it for these little few articles? Just don’t open those articles, I think rumors are nice and those ones picked by this site are the ones by leakers who have a huge credibility like pyoro and midori. But I get how you guys are annoyed by it, Mindoro has been really fucking loud these days and sometimes, she says some really obvious shit like “they are making a 3d mario”
I think if the headline of the article wasn’t “spoiling” the whole rumor it would be better. It is there, written in big letters and some want to have surprises. Maybe if the headline was something like “New Rumors about [placeholder franchise] emerge” it would be better.
I will bear these suggestions in mind. I understand where you are all coming from 😊
Problem is if we aren’t descriptive with headlines it gets written off as click bait and if we have a detailed description it’s then spoiler territory. I’ll have a think on it👍it’s a tricky one.
