Atlus leaker: SEGA’s Crazy Taxi and Jet Set reboots are GaaS, also remakes in development

The Atlus leaker who correctly announced the recent Persona games and remake has taken to X to talk a little about SEGA’s upcoming Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio games. The leaker says that both games are games as a service games much like Fortnite with live events and special collaborations etc. That’s not all, as both Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi games will also get dedicated remakes as well as the reboots. SEGA is said to be looking at both Grand Theft Auto V Online and Fortnite for inspiration. Hopefully SEGA will reveal more soon.

  1. Sweet. And when they fail, tons will get laid off, and people will moan. How about stop making games as services. No one wants it

    1. Umm? Dude! Japan rarely lays off its workers as it is ILLEGAL to lay off Japanese workers as there are no laws where they could fire them. The American and European countries are screwed but not Japan. Idiot!

      1. They did a whole internet section in London during the Dreamcast days. A whole building gone. So Sega can just create the department there again and when it flops.. dump the workers again.

    1. I think games like Fortnite get away with live service because it is free to play, so people don’t expect a complete experience. Meanwhile, paid games are expected to have a full experience without microtransactions and season/battle passes.

      1. My dude, you literally named yourself after my username…. 2000’s called and said they want their school yard bullying tactics back.

Also, isn’t more clownish that you’d call someone else a clown yet go through the trouble changing your username instead of actually using your own? Kinda cowardly, but then again, you probably had like a few more minutes on Mommy’s iPad before she took it off you

  2. I mean the remakes are coming too, so that’s a good thing. But Im iffy on a Live Service shooting Jet Set Radio game, but I’ll try it, It could potentially be fun. I have to interest in the Crazy Taxi one though.

      1. Bro you are legit the most pathetic accuse for a Troll like your Year 2000’s levels which was like the cringest year

  3. Whatever ideas and inspiration they are putting into the project, it would be a worth the wait for us SEGA fans to spend our money on. People been asking for a new game of those series for a long time now.

    1. sonicgalaxy27 the clown

Yes, but half of your videos are on YouTube Kids which is not only illegal but can get your channel terminated! Stop the cap bro! 🤡

        1. I think it’s lil timmy got like a few minutes on his Mommy’s iPad and was getting angy that she didn’t make him his nuggies

  4. You’re kidding. Sega makes a massive power move and then does this, which no one wants, especially the people who want these series back. Nice going.

  5. Way to kill my interest, SEGA. Hope both crash and burn and they lose a lot of money over that, if true.

GaaS is the cancer of the industry.
