Beat joins Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble as SEGA Pass DLC

You are now tuned into the underground airwaves straight out of Tokyo-to! As part of the SEGA Pass DLC, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble will welcome the renegade graffiti artist Beat to the roster as a playable character! Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble launches exclusively for the Nintendo Switch family of systems June 25, 2024.

Get ready to skate to the funky rhythm with Beat as he joins AiAi and the gang in their quest for the Legendary Banana! Rocking his updated look originally revealed during The Game Awards 2023, Beat will be playable across both Adventure Mode and Battle Mode, with different stats to help him on the stages. Plus, for Beat only, all in-game bananas will switch to spray cans in homage to the franchise.

Fans who purchase the Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble Digital Deluxe Edition on the Nintendo eShop for £59.99 will receive both the standard edition of the game and the SEGA Pass, which includes a total of six additional playable characters – Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Axel, and Beat, along with a set of 15 bonus SEGA-themed character customization items.

The SEGA Pass will also be available as a separate purchase for £22.49, so those who choose the Digital Deluxe Edition will save on the bundle! Individual character packs will also be available for £4.49 each. All content is scheduled to be released over the coming months.

  1. They are selling old dlc from the previous game looool, I ain’t buying that, plugged my GameCube and enjoying the best monkey ball games ever made, plus sunshine cause it’s not a real summer without a sunshine playtrough

    1. Oh yeah, I’ve been meaning to replay Sunshine. It got a nice update on Switch supporting the GameCube controller, so I’ll play it there.

    1. Nope, they revealed the whole DLC cast. Only 6 characters and 3 of them were from the previous game (in base game, no less).
