Crystal Dynamics iconic Soul Reaver franchise is looking set to be the latest series to receive the remaster treatment. The franchise is currently owned by The Embracer Group. The news that both Soul Reaver I & II are being remastered comes from San Diego Comic-Con where a statue was displayed with a placard which read Soul Reaver I & II Remastered along with a QR code. The Embracer Group has not officially announced Soul Reaver I & II Remastered as of yet, but expect that to change.

Nice, I’d like this series and Legacy of Kain series get a revival too. Glad to see Embracer are remastering these games. I hope that they truly remaster the first game and not be lazy and just port a higher res ver of Soul Reaver Dreamcast, although it’s much cleaner than the PS1 version.
