Clock Tower Rewind, a reimagining of a Super Famicom point-and-click survival horror classic, has saved its scares for the spookiest day of the year. This Halloween, Nintendo Switch and Playstation owners in the West will be able to get their hands on a game from the Clock Tower series for the very first time.
Sunsoft, which is bringing the game back from the dead with some help from Capcom and WayForward. made the announcement through a press release in Japanese- also noting that the game would be available to play through a demo at Tokyo Game Show 2024, which will run from September 26th to the 29th.
The game will be priced in Japan at 3,300 yen for the digital, 4.980 for the standard physical, and 7,480 for the collector’s physical. Details on the Western release are a bit more scarce, but Limited Run Games handled the physical release in the West earlier this year, with copies sold out and pre-orders closed by now. However, the digital version still remains on the table for those who missed out.
Readers can take a peek at the gameplay trailer below- if they dare.

I’m so excited yaaayy :) I’ve never played the series before so I’m pretty excited :) could make for a cozy spooky Halloween weekend~ <3
Nah.
Fucking hate limited run but if they make something good, I’m gonna buy their product
a North America physical copy around Halloween sounds like a fun time!
The only person you can control is you. The rest of us will buy what we want. Stay mad. You have serious issues, go to therapy.
I always wanted to try out the Clock Tower series back when I heard about it while doing a lil research on the lore of the Resident Evil franchise in the early 2000s when I was first getting into the Resident Evil games. Just got to remember to keep a look out for it on the PS Store later this year. (Or whenever it’s finally available.)
