The idea of Nintendo releasing a more powerful Switch as their next console really isn’t that absurd. They did it with the NES to SNES, GB to GBA, DS to 3DS, Wii to Wii U etc.
Some of those had their own unique gimmicks sure (like 3D screens and the gamepad), but they were still fundamentally more powerful versions of previous systems.
And with how ridiculously successful the Switch is and how much people have praised the hybrid aspect of it, it seems very likely that Nintendo won’t want to abandon the concept quite yet.
You can believe what you wanna believe of course, I just don’t understand why you’re so hellbent on this.
From what I understand is that, she firmly believes that nintendo always brings out a very incredible innovation when it comes to a new console, and doing a revision of an older console is not a nintendo move, even though history shows that nintendo did this multiple times, I think everyone here loves nintendo because they make the best games in the market and not because we can swing a controller to move link’s master world, after all, what makes Nintendo truly special is the innovation inside their games, not in their consoles.

Isn’t that kind of the point? Now that we know the next Nintendo system can play Switch games too, we don’t have to worry about wasting money on gifting Switches to our loved ones. If you ask me, Nintendo should have immediately focused on the next system the second they released Sora in Ultimate cause as of now, no Nintendo system has ever had more than one official Smash bros title. If Nintendo didn’t want to lose sales to the inferior competitors, they should have given us what we want instead of incredibly bad choices such as stupid gimmicks no one asked for, refusing to improve their graphics, or putting the wrong characters in Smash. I love Nintendo, but it’s hard to defend them when they keep stabbing me in the back.

Regarding Smash. Honestly, put your toys back in the pram. Ultimate, love or hate, it’s probably the best game collaboration with studios to ever happen.
