Nintendo has been very active with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack retro libraries recently. Although it varies which retro library gets updated with more games, Nintendo’s schedule with new additions has reached a point where it is now guaranteed to see at least one retro game added a month. There has especially been a lot of retro game additions in the past couple weeks.
Well, it isn’t surprising, but tonight has proved to be no exception. You see, Nintendo has announced that Donkey Kong Land 3 is now available to play for Nintendo Switch Online members. It can be found in the Game Boy’s retro library. You can see the official announcement social media post from Nintendo of America down below.

The typical format for ssf1991 articles:
• First paragraph: “Nintendo has been [doing something for a while] ” / “You may recall
• Second paragraph: “You see/However/Well, it isn’t surprising, but [new thing they’ve been doing that is the main point of the article] is no exception…”
A little more variety in word choice would be refreshing.
Yes, it’s cringe as hell.
Don’t be so hard to the guy… After those may be the only words he knows.
sincerely I miss the former collaborators, silvershadowfly, alba and lmcomtaldi (incontinencio for the ED guys) or whatever the hell was his name were entertaining.
I don’t blame anyone for getting fatigued at my word choice lately. I’ve been struggling very hard with that, especially this year, and it’s not intentional and something I’m happy about. It’s just that Nintendo’s current news cycle and marketing has been a double whammy of being very repetitive and small in substance lately. Like…there’s only so many times you can report on things like “so-and-so has been added to Switch Online” and “Splatoon 3 has received a new update” before your word choice creativity gets drained and it’s just hard to find a new way to begin paragraphs, you know? Ocassionally I’ve got more word choice room to work with when there’s an interview or Nintendo’s pursuing legal action, but otherwise the miniscule repetitive material has been essentially 80% of what I’ve had to work with for news this year. I don’t blame Nintendo for this, we’re in this weird pre-Switch 2 limbo right now after all. But adjusting to this news cycle hasn’t been easy and I’m not surprised it has resulted in my writing dropping in quality. I’ve been a writer on the team for almost 9 years now and I’ve never creatively struggled with my writing as much as I have this year. I’m really sorry about that and I hope you can bear with me just a little while longer. =(
Damn bro chill out you are doing fine! Like you said these news are repetitive as hell, there is not much we can talk about right now, the big news are coming early next year so you don’t have to wait that much.
Formina Sage is looking for groundbreaking writing from a Nintendo blog lol
Good. Now give us the GBC version of Donkey Kong Country, the GBA versions of Donkey Kong Country 1, 2 & 3 and finally the one we’ve all been asking for: DK64.

I’m getting close to finishing DKL2.
FYI, people told me DKL1 was a unique game and not a demake… and they were right. However, it played terrible compared to DKL2. I’m curious what DKL3 is like.
WOOOOHHHHH Donkey Kong Decemberrrr let’s go :D
