Japan: Nintendo says Alarmo public launch in January not happening due to delay

Nintendo has informed its Japanese fans that the Alarmo alarm clock will not get a public launch in January in the Land of the Rising Sun, as the company had intended. In a brief statement the company said that the decision was ultimately made due to a “production and inventory situation”. It is not clear whether the same situation with Alarmo will happen here in the west, though it does seem likely. Nintendo had been planning a public launch for the fancy alarm clock in January 2025.

  1. Oh, how horrifying. How will the Japanese people wake up now without the iconic mario coins when they move their body in bed?
