By now, you’re more than likely aware of the Nintendo Music app. The app, which was randomly announced on social media around Halloween, is a new method for fans to be able to listen to various soundtracks that Nintendo has released over the decades. Nintendo confirmed that more soundtracks would be added to the app in the future, and they have been keeping to that promise ever since.
So, it isn’t surprising at all that Nintendo continues to stay true to their word and have added yet another one to the app tonight. The company had officially added Wave Race 64 the Nintendo Music library a week ago, and now you can now listen to music from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. You can see a social media post relaying the news down below.

Phenomenal soundtrack in a series with amazing soundtracks in general. My Symphony of the Goddesses poster still hangs above my desk from seeing the orchestra years ago when Skyward Sword was the newest game. :)
why isnt already plenty of music there? New games should be added now.. not old ones
The release frequency on this App is miles better than the release of old games on Switch Online thought. Better one entire OST per week, than a couple of games every three months. That being said… yeah, I wish they released more than one OST per week, since Nintendo has hundreds of games from its history, it will still take AGES for them to release them all… (there’s nothing wrong in releasing new AND old ones thought, their OSTs are timeless regardless of the game).
You practically said that a shitty release schedule is better than another shitty release schedule. There is no reason why we have to be spoonfed a ost every 3 weeks, it literally takes nothing for them to add at least 5 osts every week, how many Nintendo games are there with a great ost? Probably more than 500+. Why the hell would I have to wait Nintendo to upload their osts on their app when SoundCloud has all of it already?
Perhaps they want to keep the traffic on the app constant, and releasing all the OSTs at once could compromise it? I don’t know that’s the only reasonable logic I could think of but even so you’re right, they could still release 5 OSTs instead of a single one per week, in that way the traffic on the app would be better.
Just to be clear, I wasn’t trying to defend Nintendo, I was just pointing out that the frequence of release on the app is still better than the one for the games, but that doesn’t make it a “good” one.
Absolute banger game, my personal favorite Zelda tbh
Best soundtrack of all Zelda games, awesome
They didn’t add “Follow Fi” to the app. You had one job, Nintendo!
Really? This is one of the best tracks in the game!
It’s called “The Spirit’s Guidance” on the app.
“pop music” 😂
So is this everything on that CD that came out years ago or is this the entire OST
The only track that is missing is the Wii Channel logo. Otherwise, everything else is there.
They didn’t add. The song Scaldera and Tentalus critical in the Nintendo Music app and I’m disappointed that they didn’t put it in there. They should’ve at least put it in there. They need to update the app for sure and add more tracks from skyward sword, including that either way it’s great that they add the soundtracks on the Nintendo Music app which
It’s in “Scaldera and Tentalus Battles,” one minute, twenty-four seconds in. Lots of Nintendo Music tracks, this one included, are based on the physical Japanese releases. I’ve been collecting video game soundtracks since 2001, and I even have the limited 2021 Skyward Sword Soundtrack edition, so I know this stuff. I don’t think they’ll update it; all the tracks are already there. They use a really cool dynamic style, blending everything together perfectly. That’s common for battle themes, you know. The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Breath of the Wild, Link’s Awakening, and Tears of the Kingdom soundtracks all do it too. The critical part(s)are not separated unless the track(s) are very different from each other, usually.
