Rumour: French presenter claims Nintendo reps spoke to Genki at CES 2025

French presenter Julien Tellouck claims that peripheral manufacturer Genki were approached at the Consumer Electronic Tradeshow by representatives from Nintendo. Genki had previously advertised that they would share information about the Nintendo Switch 2 at their booth at the event, which they did. Genki responded to them by saying that they did nothing wrong and that they never signed a non disclosure agreement with the Kyoto-based company.

  1. There were reports of the Genki reps at the event claiming they had acquired a Switch 2 off the black market (they have since publicly denied having a Switch 2 at all, but is that just for legal reasons I wonder?). If true, that could constitute them doing something wrong, regardless of whether they have signed an NDA with Nintendo.

  2. I laughed….

Soon we will have “during a drunken party, someone who pretended to be the manager of Nintendo confessed to me that everything that is said on the Internet is true and that the aliens themselves hacked Nintendo to get information!'”
