At this point, it doesn’t really need to be stated anymore what has been happening with Nintendo news as of late. Nevertheless, things have gotten very interesting today. Multiple insiders have suggested that the Switch 2 reveal is happening this week, with one of them even dropping a date of January 16th. That isn’t the only thing we’ve learned today.
The gaming news media is reacting to the info from the insiders we previously mentioned, especially the info from NateTheHate. One of them is Video Games Chronicle, or VGC for short. At one point, NateTheHate speculated that the Switch 2 would release in May or June of this year. Not only did VGC acknowledge this speculation, but they even confirmed that it “matches with what VGC has heard from its own sources”. So, assuming this is true, it seems that Nintendo may be aiming for a summer release for the console. As usual though, this isn’t straight from Nintendo, so until Nintendo breaks their silence, always keep an open mind on the rumors, leaks and speculation that is happening.

Man, you should’ve been here before the Switch was revealed. Not just here- everywhere was going crazy over rumors about the next Nintendo console. This is just history repeating.
I was about to comment this. The period between the Switch was revealed (when it was referred as the NX) and launched had the same amount of rumors or even more in 2015–2017.
I wish they stuck woth the nx for a name.

My uncle told me that the next console will be released in July 2025, he heard it in a bar with a man living who said he was a hacker and that he hacked Nintendo in September….

I think the only reason they’re posting it is because many credible industry experts, including mainstream media outlets, are confirming this rumor

I heard the switch 2 is releasing in Jan or feb or failing that March or April, but could be May or June or a possibility of July or August and maybe even sept or oct, but not to rule out nov or dec.
You know it could still possibly release next year. Plus knowing nintendo they will probably wait until the last week of March to announce the thing. If there were no leaks or rumors at all then they would probably announce it sooner. They’ll purposely wait last minute as a middle finger to all those leakers and rumor mills.
People acting like the internet being all lit with rumours on the cusp of a new console is a new phenomenon. Love it.
If this is true then I could believe this type of rumor since people still believes in those rumors.

May or June? I doubt that’s the date it releases. Something about it just doesn’t seem believable. March or April seems more realistic in my opinion.
I wish leakers would crawl back under the rocks they came from and allow developers / publishers and gaming companies to announce news themselves and for the good of the gaming fans and community, instead of social media influencing leaker idiots trying their hardest to spoil things and get kicks out of it. 🎮
