One of the Associate Marketing Director’s at Ubisoft has stated on his LinkedIn profile that the acclaimed Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown managed to sell 1.3 million units during its first year of release. Sadly, this figure was not enough for Ubisoft who said it failed to meet the company’s internal expectations. Subsequently a sequel to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which was planned, was canned.
