Development builds leak from Switch dev kit including Retro Studios Project Harmony

A number of old Nintendo Switch game builds have leaked online from a Nintendo Switch development kit which show an unreleased Ridge Racer prototype and also a canned project by Retro Studios which is titled Project Harmony. The development builds are obviously early builds of the games, but it has been noted that some of them are playable. Here’s what has been discovered so far:

  1. Old Splatoon 2 debug builds
  2. Rime
  3. Unreleased Lego Civilization game
  4. Unreleased Ridge Racer prototype
  5. Unreleased Retro Studios Game (Project Harmony)
  6. ARMS debug build

  1. I remember an aborted RPG project on Game Cube made by Retro Studios: Raven Blade

    What is unfortunate is that I have the impression that this studio has taken a back seat compared to others like Monolith Soft

      1. They haven’t exactly “done very little”, it’s just that most of their projects haven’t gone anywhere and have been cancelled. So to the outside, it might appear as though they didn’t do much.

    1. I have that same feeling too. The fact that Nintendo isn’t giving it the hype cycle solidified that feeling with the long development time, and multiple development team (started with Bandai?) was the start of this feeling.
