Retro Studios have had a troubled history since after they released the excellent Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. during that time they were working on several projects which were canned and one of those is the colourful 3D platformer, Harmony. A leaked build found its way online and YouTuber Stumblyn has released over four hours of gameplay, showing off several different levels and vibrant cut scenes etc. It’s a fascinating watch.

But anything… Retro Studios belongs to Nintendo… Did they stop Skyward Sword when you can ride birds?

Amazing to see what could’ve been—Harmony looks truly creative and fun.
Looks alright, but also looks like they were having a hard time with it. Probably best to shelve it.
Don’t forget we thought Metroid dread was cancelled for over a decade. Nintendo doesn’t throw anything away.
