Nintendo has announced via X that it will be making an appearance at Gamecom this year. The Kyoto-based company declined to attend Gamescom last year as it said that it was busy working on the then unannounced Nintendo Switch 2, which is due out on 5th June. It is not clear which games Nintendo will focus on at this year’s event but you can bet Drag X Drive and Mario Kart World will be there. Gamescom 2025 kicks off on 20th August.
“Mark your calendar in red: Nintendo will be back at @gamescom in 2025. We look forward to welcoming you in Cologne from August 20 to 24!”
Maybe there will be more info on mp4. Not sure why there’s no solid release date yet and just 2025, maybe Nintendo are saving it for a q4 release in case their not ready to give us the next main Mario game by then and this will fill a void or maybe they didn’t want to release around gta v, buts that now next year, or maybe it’s not quite polished enough.
GTA V released 12 years ago.
And yes, Nintendo will be joining Gamescom this year on August 20 to August 24, 2025. Sometimes, the company does not join the annual Gamescom.
Hopefully they announce some new Wii U games
The only Wii U game I heard anyone mention and no I am not kidding are Star Fox Zero and Guard
