A juicy new rumour has been doing the rounds regarding one spiky blue hedgehog as Sonic Team is apparently eyeing November 2026 for their sequel to Sonic Frontiers. We all know Sonic Frontiers was basically a work in progress for open world Sonic, so it’ll be exciting to see how much progress has been made over the fun but flawed original. What happened to the Sonic Heroes remake? Just bring back Shiro Maekawa and drop Ian Flynn and Aaron Webber. Make Adventure 3 and remake 1 and 2.

SEGA said they are still reconsidering it. But I will love a Sonic Heroes remake. I’m pretty sure they are saving it for Sonic’s 35th anniversary!
