Nintendo has unleashed a new batch of Mario Kart World-themed user icons for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. The latest wave includes fan favourites such as Toad, Pauline and Mario, amongst others. As with all the Nintendo Switch Online profile icons available these can be customised to your heart’s content with customisable backgrounds and borders that you can tinker with to get your icon looking just right.
Wish they had a user icon for Donkey Kong All Terrian and Bowser All Terrian.

Funny enough, this reminds me of how people customize their profiles and in-game experiences elsewhere too. For example, in Roblox, many players use tools like Fluxus Executor — it’s a Lua script executor that lets users modify their gameplay or automate certain features. While Fluxus is mostly for scripting and automation in Roblox, it shows how customization and personalization are huge across all gaming communities, whether it’s icons, scripts, or mods.
