The revered team at Camelot Software, the developers behind the Golden Sun franchise ands Mario Tennis and Mario Golf, are currently in the late stages of developing a project. It is not clear what Camelot is working on next but it’s undoubtedly something for the Nintendo Switch 2. Camelot Software is at the stage where regional/localization tasks are being worked on in addition to Automated UI Testing and UI Annotation.

Probably Golf or Tennis, but I really hope I’m wrong and it’s a new Golden Sun. Never been a better time with the popularity of RPGs on the Switch.

Golden Sun 3 please. Heck, even just a remake of the first Golden Sun (either fully 3D or 2.5D) would be great.
There already was a third Golden Sun.
If I remember correctly, some fans want to pretend that one never happened.
I’d prefer neither 3d or 2.5d. The 2D sprites for the summons were top notch at the time. Golden Sun should be treated as a retro 2D series, similar to games like Axiom Verge & Claire. Ninty’s got so many franchises going 3d, so it’d be nice if Golden Sun wasn’t one of them.
Now it will be a surprise when the new Mario Tennis/Golf will be released.
More than likely it will be a sports game of some sort.

I don’t even need it to be Golden Sun, just a new RPG in their signature style.
As much as I would love to see a new Golden Sun game. In all honesty I’m fed up with Nintendo at this time.
