Playtonic has finally graced us with a release date for their reworking of the original Yooka-Laylee and it’s arriving on the Nintendo Switch 2 and other platforms on Thursday, 9th October. So sadly it won’t be shadow dropped, but it will give time for people to save their hard-earned money. The Xbox Series X|S version of Yooka-Replaylee is 26.1 GB, so expect a similar file-size on the Nintendo Switch 2. For now check out the official release date announcement trailer.

i’m happy for those who liked the original version and I’m happy for those who might enjoy this version but I was very let down with what I played to game completion. in my opinion A Hat In Time is the better game and more people should play in that instead!
i think they should play yooka replayee and impossible lair instead
