The Tokyo Game Show is in full swing and one of the playable demos on the show floor is Resident Evil Requiem. The game, which is running natively on the Nintendo Switch 2, looks pretty impressive given the hardware and shows what developers can accomplish on the handheld system with time, effort and resources. Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem launches on the Nintendo Switch 2 in February 2026.

Graphically it looks impressive for SW2, gameplay looks a bit boring but I’ll have to play it to experience it.

Resident Evil Requiem running this smoothly in the early days on a Switch 2 in Handheld Mode really makes me hopeful for the other two games as well running excellent on this!
