This year is flying by and we’ve had some excellent games released so far across a number of genres and platforms. While we have still got a few months left of 2025 Culture Crave has provided a handy infographic showing the highest scoring games of the year thus far. Hades 2 is leading the charge with a Metascore of 94 and Nintendo fans will be pleased to see Donkey Kong Bananza at No.4. This list includes games with over thirty reviews and doesn’t include remakes or remasters.
Man what a year so far. All top 6 games on meta are in the 90s, and all of which are completely different and amazing in their genres.
And we still need Little Nightmares 3, Metroid Prime 4, Disgaea 7, Pokemon ZA, Ninja Gaiden 4, The Outer Worlds 2, Mina the Hollower, Moonlighter 2, Stalker 2, and hopefully finally a release for this year, Witchbrook.
