Open Ai’s new Sora app which has recently launched on the App Store allows users to generate numerous animated clips with a few simple key words. The company’s Chief Executive Sam Altman has posted a video on the platform of himself surrounded by Pokemon and jokingly said “I hope Nintendo doesn’t sue us.” Judging from recent news reports the app infringes on numerous intellectual properties such as Sponge Bob SquarePants, McDonald’s, Pokemon and more.
OpenAI and Sora’s Sam Altman says “I hope Nintendo doesn’t sue us”

You have no idea how much I hate this bastard. Remember guys if you are rich enough you are above all laws.
I mean genki literally got sued showing off the switch 2 early and pulling a “I hope nintendo doesn’t sue us” this is just an instant calling card
You are not counting the fact that Nintendo ceos are PUSSIES. They pick on people insanely smaller than them to take down non profit projects that harms in no way Nintendo , but if the president of the United States use pokèmon to sponsor their political fascist police while they play clips of families getting destroyed, the only thing they do is,”erm you can’t do that”
It’s more than just that, they’re aware that our president is a fragile, egotistical, rapist, pedophiles, moron with little hands who actually has control of the government. You do anything to get in his way, and that blubbering child attacks you where it hurts; financially.
The people in charge of Nintendo right now are business people, the name doesn’t mean to them what it meant to Iwata or Yamauchi.
Exactly, trump would probably put tariffs on Japan just for a lawsuit
Didn’t realize enforcing immigration laws was “fascism”. No fascism is assassinating/attempted assassination of political opponents, censoring/banning anyone (including presidential candidates) who doesn’t support their ideology on social media platforms, opening up the boarder and prioritizing them over citizens and inciting violent rhetoric against the other party to radicalize one’s party to commit violence against them.
tastes the worm a lil bit
Yeah not that hungry today
keeps swimming
Here’s the thing,
up until Biden, illegal immigrants had contributed more than was supposed “given” to them. Because in order to ask for assistance you need to be gasp a legal resident.
Illegals had have made this damn fine country run.
Paid taxes, and never got anything back, the government knew, only morons have painted that illegals only take, because, well, morons only listen to what is told to them.
Look at your fields, your farms, most of them in your red states are going bankrupt. Construction has slowed down. But guess what. Your moronic president will tell you that everything is great, all while you’re stupid ass agrees and then complain that Biden is the reason for our current inflation.

Keep telling yourself that btw, the last political assassination was towards a Democrat, the previous one was guess again, another Democrat, and the one before that was gasp another Democrat. Kirk was a fake Christian podcaster that leaned right, emphasis on the leaning. He incited violence and hate, he brought that on himself and the one that did it was raised by hardcore Christian Republicans. He was NOT a democrat, no matter what you’re moronic leaders say. He was a transgender loving unregistered Republican. Look at all his post and pictures on his Facebook. That man idolized trump.
Yes but the company behind the Switch accessories had this coming. This is why Nintendo is taking extreme precaution with their IPs. Also, homeland security of US should have asked next time to used the Pokemon original theme.
If Nintendo stuff were made, I’m sure they will be sued. Nintendo tried it with Playstation’s Dreams.
I’m against AI-generated crap- and AI in general- to begin with, so I hope anyone sues him and puts this down for good.
Baically they are inviting Nintendo to sue tge hell out of them.
“Old Man Yells at Cloud: The Comment Section”
Yeah, that doesn’t mean it is going to exist unregulated. There’s really going to have to be a legal conversation about IP rights in regards to AI-generation. A lawsuit might be a good way to get the ball rolling. Maybe. I’m not a law expert. But common sense does tell you that this conversation is going to have to happen sooner or later.
