Nintendo has reinforced its ban on Nintendo Switch 2 scalping on major Japanese online marketplaces as stock issues continue to be an issue in The Land of the Rising Sun. Yahoo! Auctions is maintaining a ban on all listings involving the console and this includes Pokemon Legends Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 bundles which are available from today. Another leading online marketplace Mercari has also followed suit and is removing scalper listings for Nintendo’s latest console.
Japan: Strict ban on Nintendo Switch 2 listings continue on online marketplace

Good
very good
That’s weird. The Target near me is filled with Switch 2s that no one’s touching. I don’t think it’s doing as well in the US as Japan.
No, it’s doing well in the US. There’s just a lot of stock. Since they’re selling at a huge loss in Japan and want as many units in the US as possible to be ready for ever increasing tariffs.
Also, you shouldn’t assume that your area represents the entire country, nor that they aren’t being touched just because they’re in stock. Did you actually ask if they were selling, or did you just assume?
The huge price difference probably has something to do with it.
Nah, numbers are good. Nintendo just better anticipated demand this time around
Probably because it costs an arm and a leg ($450) and most people, including myself, don’t have the income to buy it.
My local Wal-Mart has had a healthy supply since July.
I might buy one if they release an Animal Crossing edition OLED. otherwise, I am back to strictly PC.
Who cares there are plenty of Switch 2s at the Walmart. I got there and they have even the $450 available now. You be crazy to buy from a scalper when there are plenty.
That may not matter. We still have a lot of choices. No worry.
very awesome site
It’s a shame when stock issues lead to scalping. If you’re looking for a fun distraction while waiting for restocks, try playing Racing Limits online for free. It’s a great way to pass the time!
