Square Enix has successfully remade Final Fantasy VII branching out on the source material and generally doing a good job so far. We are still waiting for the third entry and it seems as though Square Enix still has plenty of ideas regarding Final Fantasy VII and are actively considering downloadable content for the untitled third game. Going further they even suggested that we could see a fourth entry in the Final Fantasy VII Remake series and that “things are really up in the air” surrounding that at present.

Remake and Rebirth has surpassed the original FF7 and having part 4 as a sequal that continues after the remake series is complete is a great idea. They can even do a part 5.
