Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 has now shifted over 10.36 million units worldwide since its launch in June. To put this in some perspective the ill-fated Wii U console only sold 13.5 million units during its lifetime, so the Nintendo Switch 2 is doing spectacular numbers. Another thing to note is the attach rate of Mario Kart World which came as a bundle with the system, which has a 92.7% attach rate.

Still sad to see the lifetime sales of the Wii U were abysmal but it crawled so the Switch and Switch 2 could run.
Indeed, but it is also thanks to its concept that the Switch was born… The Switch 2 is selling, for the moment, better than the Switch 1 in comparison… the Switch 1 had sold 10 million in 9 months, and this isn’t even 6 months yet.
Ponies punching air right now. I do not get their hatred of Nintendo well they have issue with any gaming platform not Sony. Switch 1 needs to beat PS2 lifetime sales. Switch 2 hopefully keeps this up and will overtake PS5 would love to see it beat the current number quicker
Why does it need to beat them so badly? I have a PS5 Pro and a Switch 2. I’m not happy with the way Nintendo is handling a lot of things, but I still got one. I personally feel the sales of the switch 2 will stall for a while after the holidays before picking up again
Because those PS2 numbers are artificial. It would’ve over taken the PS2 by now if it wasn’t for those “newly” found sales last year.
Pony be quiet Switch 2 first year has 4 games in its first year while junk station 5 had 1 game its first year. Switch 2 will continue to thrive because Nintendo delivers and Sony is burning wasted their money on crap like Bungie now the Tencent lawsuit add on their other businesses like movies, music, and anime they can’t run all at once losing money on multiple. Losing China/Tencent as a partner which is possible now also hurts them given how reliant they are on them. But go play the trash on that console nothing fun on PS5.
They really do they pretend the Switch wasn’t beating the PS4 and 5 in sales, they attacked Xbox just because when it was already dead still do, and PC gaming too these ponies are mental I notice they’re all millennials also most didn’t get into gaming like that until 360 then turned into cultists by PS4/PS5 now they cry that the generations over and they had no good games they’re lying saying PS5 was the shortest generation it wasn’t! 7 years is the standard, the OG Xbox had a shorter lifespan and way more games exclusive. The day the Switch 1 surpasses the PS2 lifetime sales Sony will be in more trouble add on other issues and ponies will throw a tantrum, even worse if Switch 2 outpaces PS5 current sales quicker. I do not see PS6 going long given all the trouble at Sony and when they drop out gaming it will be glorious seeing these ponies lose it hopefully they give up gaming they don’t even seem to like it they’re the same as any other fake fan tourist group in any other space like anime or even movies/tv look how they ruined Marvel and DC.
I bought the South Korean version of Mario Kart Bundle Switch 2. I need a Korean ID and phone number to download the game. I regret it.
