Casey Hudson comments on 2030 rumour for Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic

Everyone was surprised to see the reveal of the narrative-driven action RPG Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic at The Game Awards and rumours have been swirling since the reveal that we won’t see the game until at least 2030. However, the game’s director, Casey Hudson, has stated on X that this isn’t the case as he says the game will be out before then as he’s “not getting any younger.”

    1. Yup. NetEase closed the last one in 2024 end of the year so how does this come out before 2030 that makes no sense unless he’s using AI maybe? Even then seems far because barely any staff. Who is funding him now and publishing.

  1. He is lying his last studio closed 2024 and this one just formed no way he releases before 2030. Who is funding this studio the Saudi’s or Tencent? No way he got the license without an investor? We have no name on publisher. NetEase closed his last studio so not them.
