Metacritic: The 10 worst games of 2025

We are always hearing about the best video games, but how about those which are just plain bad? Well, data provided from Metacritic has revealed the games which you want to avoid this Christmas season. Intelligent Systems and DeNA are on the list at No.2 with the unappealing Fire Emblem Shadows, which received a Metascore of 37. These are the ten games that you just don’t want to get this Christmas.

    1. Glover on the N64 is awesome. If I’m remembering correctly, the rerelease that came out this year was of the PSX version, which has a load of issues with it. So the N64 original release is great, but the rerelease is the version that has issues.

      1. There’s no such thing as the PSX version, the PSX was never released to the public. If you mean PlayStation then that’s a completely different platform. And yes, the game was always garbage you’re just looking at it through nostalgia.

            1. Yeah, I know about the PlayStation version of Glover. I was saying “no” to Robyn W. I’m not sure why this site sent my comment to you instead. Glover (N64) is awesome!

    1. The game reviewed well, it moved forwards in some places but it took a few steps back from what we got in Arceus. Definitely not a terrible game. But I forgot;

      Pokemon bad, Palworld good.

    1. There’s no such thing as a Switch 1, we only have Switch and Switch 2. There has never been a legitimate reason to put a 1 in any title that never had it.
