  1. I mean they look pretty good but i prefer the all colored og switch ones, they are probably doing this to differentiate them but idk, just put a big switch 2 label on the box and it’s probably fine?

      1. Yeah, I mean you are basically gonna see the color change under the sticks and that’s it, the side will be hidden unless you play them detached without a grip which is like the worst way to use them, the red and blue og joycons are INSANELY iconic now, I don’t know why they are taking this sad all black route.

    1. Let’s be real dude, the majority of the people who consume Nintendo products will never take the hassle to tear down insanely pricy controller just to change the color of them.

    2. Yes, I did things like this when I was younger. Now that I’m older with more limited free time, I’d rather just get official variants. I don’t care to take the time to swap in a cheap and usually crappy custom shell. But I’m also not going to buy a lazy variant like these. Lose/lose situation right now. Oh well. Money saved.

  2. What is the point of these, about as pointless as a full moon on a foggy night, I mean come on get real, where’s the actual proper new joy con colors like we had on the original switch, I was half expecting some new themed joy cons around Christmas, but not to be and now these!

  3. If anyone of you actually owned a switch 2 you would know the gap between the joy con and the screen shows the color. It’s subtle but you will see the purple and green beyond the color beneath the joy sticks. It’ll make a difference

    1. I own a Switch 2 and play exclusively in handheld mode. No, you don’t see the color in between the joycon and the Switch 2 unit. You really only see the colors under the joysticks.

I don’t really care about this one way or the other (wake me up when they do cool translucent shells again). I just wanted to correct you.

  4. Part of the reason I bought so many Joy-Cons for SW1 was all the color variety (For lefts I have purple, pink, grey, and indigo; rights I have yellow, green, light blue, and orange). SW2 JCs are 93% grey with any other color, they’re just so… dull.
