Final Fantasy VII Remake director talks about the Nintendo Switch 2

The Final Fantasy VII Remake is now available on the Nintendo Switch 2 and by all accounts it has been a success with Digital Foundry saying that the Nintendo Switch 2 version sits somewhere between the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the action JRPG. Naoki Hamaguchi, the producer behind the game, seems smitten with the platform and fans have the next instalments to look forward to.

“Switch 2 is a very appealing platform and a great piece of hardware,” Hamaguchi said. “That said, compared to other consoles, the specs are a little bit on the lower-end side. I have seen a lot of other publishers struggling to get their games to work very smoothly on the Nintendo Switch 2. But considering that this is a trilogy, and Remake being the first title within it, I really wanted to make sure that we are conveying that quality to Nintendo players for them to understand just how great Final Fantasy 7 Remake is.”

  1. Ask Nomura and Square Enix where is Kingdom Hearts 4? Game been in development for 6 going on 7 years now started in 2019 revealed in 2022 with gameplay. Part 3 started not long ago and I believe these games took 4-5 years in development 4 years between releases except part 3 that’s 3 years.

    1. Saudi’s and IDF probably had a disagreement and need to make this instead to make everyone feel they are on the right side of history when it’s all a farce. Fans of this garbage pretend they are woke yet conform to capitalism and corporations they are supposed to hate. That includes you stupid Disney adult kids past your 40’s a company in bed with the genocidal Chinese government, the IDF, and bigoted Abu Dhabi.

      1. If you are saying gamer’s are for losers, why are you on a nintendo news site? Did you get lost on your way to twitter?

      2. Uh oh, another incel whose left hand won’t have sex with him anymore. He is mad that he will never get laid now.

  2. Gamers Are Epstein Literally!

Gaming companies are gross taking bloody money from IDF supporters, Saudi Arabia, and China and now more recently apparently were doing Epstein things boycott GTA 6 that entire company is sick from Randy Pitchford to Sam Houser. Square takes Saudi money do NOT enable this, Nintendo as well, and let’s not forget the anti Hong Kong sentiment from Blizzard and the Cosby suite Activision employees have, Sony lawsuits from female employees alleging SA back to the 90’s, gaming is gross and for incels! Fake allies everywhere like David Jaffe.

    1. Anyone can buy stock in a public company. And, until it gets up to over 10%, sadly, there’s nothing the company can do. Holy crap, you’re making some baseless allegations. Well, accept the GTA creators being associated with Epstein.
