News has emerged this evening that SEGA and Paramount have found their Amy Rose in the upcoming Sonic 4 Movie. Yes, it is Kristen Bell who was chosen to voice the pink hedgehog and she will star alongside Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba, Keanu Reeves, Jim Carrey and more. It has also been announced that Sonic 4 Movie will directed by Jeff Fowler who was the director behind the previous three movies. Sonic 4 Movie is out in cinemas on 19th March, 2027.

Amy is not a draw like Shadow and neither is Kristen compared to Keanu. Rumors are this will also have a high budget high or equal to 3 so not looking good add on Zelda movie coming out the same time. Younger people do not have the same attachment to Amy and Metal that they did Shadow mix in Sonic 3 has more mixed responses compared to 2 so less people will be watching.

Why would they do that when they never do that in other video game film adaptations? It’s the same as them choosing Chris Pratt to voice Mario, or Idris Elba for knuckles. Also Kristen Bell is already a voice actress. Her biggest credit is probably Anna in the Frozen films.
