Mystic & Aurora Ticket easily obtainable in Pokemon FireRed & LeafGreen on Switch

Two things which were notoriously difficult to get in the original versions of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen were the Mystic and Aurora Tickets which could only be obtained via limited items that were exclusive to in-person events. Thankfully, this isn’t the case with the Nintendo Switch ports of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. To obtain the Mystic and Aurora Tickets in the FireRed and LeafGreen ports you just need to defeat the Elite Four and enter the Hall of Fame and then both items will be added to your inventory, enabling you to access the events allowing you to catch Lugia, Ho-oh, and Deoxys, which can be shiny-hunted.

  1. Man this is an AMAZING addition to these versions. I’m so happy. I feel like that’s a huge addition to these re-releases, the possibility of event items being built in. I hope when they do the rest of Gen III (and I & II) they add the same things in too :)

  2. This is like when Nintendo released Super Mario Bros Advance 4 on the Wii U and included all of the E-Reader levels. I am glad they included this. Game preservation is king!

  3. Awesome hopefully they do the same for things in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald which need rereleases also Alpha and Omega too.

  4. I’m glad Ho-oh and Lugia aren’t version exclusive here. I’ll transfer them to shield because that game has some good TMs for them.

I think it’s gonna be like gen 7 where the Red Blue Yellow green gold silver and crystal 3ds ports were only compatible with gen 7 only through pokemon bank as well transporter to sun And moon as Well As US/UM so probably for fire red and leaf green switch ports the pokemon will be compatible with gen 9 and above that’s just my theory of it anyways however they might be able to transfer them to the previous pokemon game like gen 8 sword and shield as well BDSP as Well Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee maybe who nintendo and the pokemon company’s going to grant full compatibility with those games which i hope but don’t get too excited or your hopes up
