Nintendo has provided an update on Nintendo Switch software that was previously experiencing issues when played on the Nintendo Switch 2. Some big names have been seen fixes including Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, DOOM and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. Two lesser known games are still experiencing issues when played on the newer Nintendo Switch 2 and they are Pizza Tower and Laysara: Summit Kingdom.
Fixes for Nintendo Switch games on Nintendo Switch 2 for March 2026:

- Botany Manor
- Dadish
- Dariusburst: Another Chronicle EX+
- Dariusburst SC Core + Taito/SEGA Pack
- Doom (2016)
- Earnest Evans Collection
- Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age
- Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe
- Limbo
Games that are experiencing problems with game progression:
- Hoop Shoot
- Roman Rumble in Las Vegum – Asterix & Obelix XXL 2
- Summer Games Challenge: Jumping & Shooting
- Summer Games Challenge: Running
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed

Don’t worry Skylar, CFG is talking about the port quality on switch, not the game itself. The switch version was really rough, but the game was great.
That’s true. The performance was terrible but the game itself was alright.

Good to see Nintendo fixing these issues, backward compatibility really matters and it’s nice that even older games are getting attention. Hopefully the remaining problems get resolved soon.
