UK video game journalist Christopher Dring is reporting this evening that the UK physical launch of zany Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream was 36% bigger than Pokemon Pokopia‘s launch. Naturally the fact that Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream was available to play on the original Nintendo Switch console comes into play here, but it’s certainly a very good start for Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream.

I WONDER WHY
Enlighten us.
Something something game key card
Nintendo is killing it!
REAL
There are many reasons for this:
1: This was more stocked then pokopia
2: This was available for the original switch, allowing for a bigger market
3: This was not a game-key card, so more people wanted it physically
The game is fun, nothing crazy, but a funny, delightful time!
Almost like having the whole game in a cartridge is better or something
People really be acting like the 20 of you who care about “muh physikuls” can shift the market in any measurable way slays me. UK had near 0 Pokopia physical sales in its first month due to short supply, that’s it, this game won’t ever come close to total global sales.
